Chances of convincing HBS to take me off the waitlist using offers and full tuition scholarships from all the other M7 (GSB, Wharton, Kellogg, Booth, Sloan, CBS)?

I'm at a career juncture and have decided on a career in anti-money laundering as my new path. I'm also highly interested in additional education to further my career and am eyeing graduate school. Which is best? A law degree or a master's in international relations? Those are where my interests lie. I keep reading that JDs are valued in compliance but am wondering if a different graduate program is better for my goals. I already plan to obtain the CAMS certification. Thank you!

Is it possible to get money out of ibonds before the 1 year period? We put out house down payment in ibonds thinking we won’t buy until Jan 2023 but we really like a house and wish to buy. Also, if I bought the ibond on 2nd Jan 2022 would it mature on 2nd or 30th Jan. TIA.

I wonder how some businesses are STILL thriving with trash poor customer support! In 2022 *sighs*

I joined a company yesterday. I got another offer the next day from a very good company.
The joined company has not shipped the laptop yet. Just onboarding calls are over. Can I abscond and join with a new offer? What are your suggestions? I really want to join a new offer as it's a good company.

I broke up with my EX mainly because the relationship with my child and her was not the best, it sucks but I have to look out for my child, So far I am able to do the things I can do now. It is not the I am not Hoeing around but the simply fact that I can hang out with friends and go watch my son play baseball is a great feeling now. I feel at peace now, in somewhat of pain because of the breakup but I am at peace now.

My partner and I are looking to move from NYC to Dallas in 2022. I’m in big law and he is a public interest lawyer. I can easily transfer within my firm, but he’s having trouble pinning down public interest opportunities in Dallas. It seems like they’re less available than NYC, but also not sure if we just aren’t looking in the right places. He currently does housing work but is passionate about civil rights and public benefits generally. Any tips on how to come by public interest opportunities?

Why do have to wear a mask in public just because other people refused to get vaccinated. ? If it is an contagious as measles then mask are not going to stop the spread.

For those of you that have been to Costa Rica, how difficult is driving there? Planning on renting a car and worried about the roads/road signs since I know minimal Spanish.

Sales and Trading vs PE? What is comp, WLB and career trajectory like. Doing my MBA now and likely going into consulting, but not sure. Might plan to exit to PE but if S&T offers decent hours and similar pay, may just skip the whole consulting to PE business.
