Stupid question but when people say to go to “industry”, I’m not sure which companies to apply for. Does industry just mean any non-consulting firm? What are good moves to industry?

I’ve been working at this company for a year now and they’ve recently gone through a merger with another company. Now there are two sets of C level leadership. Everything is confusing and I feel like employees are being left in the dark. I asked someone in HR for some information as to Wage tables etc and haven’t received a response in over a month. There is no way of telling if this person even works here anymore!

How's everyone doing? I was on social media today and reading about the Adam Toledo video and it took me back to last June, which on top of the pain from seeing this racist system continue to win out, June was my lowest billing month and hurt my confidence about hitting hours compared to my white peers.
