I am at the 2nd round of my interview for the Recruiter Position for a German Company in Germany. I want to ask what should I prepare for this interview and which situations could they give me to check my Recruitment knowledge? Basic questions have been asked in the first interview.
You’re constantly showing up for everyone else, but who’s showing up for you? I started an initiative to coach HR/people leaders because I know what it’s like to be doing all the things for everyone else with little support or focus on your own well-being, growth and development. It’s a lonely game! I’d be delighted to create the space to make you a priority. Would love to offer a free session, or simply connect: https://www.chrisrollins.me/peopleleaders.
Any thoughts on the best certifications to get in order to help move forward? I have considered the CCP from World at Work, but it’s fairly pricey to get by the time you wrap up everything. I was looking at both SHRM-CP and SPHR. Everyone that I have spoken to has the SHRM, but that’s also only looking at individuals in a small geographic footprint and within 3-4 different companies. I was hoping to get some thoughts on this from others? Thanks
Looking for feedback on Paylocity and UKG payroll HRIS. We have 250 employees and rapidly growing company.
Hi! For the folks who have recently took the SHRM-CP exam this year, how would you describe the test and any tips you can provide would be helpful!
To hr professionals in finance..I’m considering getting an online certificate through Cornell in data/analytics. Worth it or do employers think it’s equivalent to Coursera?
What's the harshest thing your Buyer has ever said to you? Ex: Buyer emailed my colleague "instead of sharing photos of our empty shelves why don't you spend your time getting us more product"
What training or guidance are you giving managers at your firms about managing hybrid teams? There is a lot out there on remote teams, but a lot of us are going back three days a week which means people at home and people in the room. Any tips to pass on?
Advice on taking and passing the SPHR exam?
Any strategies or resources you could recommend for getting rid of the dreaded annual performance review (or at least lessening the dread) and creating a more effective year round performance feedback system? Our review is currently tied to our end of year bonuses and merit increases, so not sure I could get rid of it entirely. This would be for hourly and management employees, all working on-site.
Looking for advice on project management software or tools for HR consulting. Our firm doesn’t have anything that is standard or used at all, and while some of us are starting to venture into using Microsoft Teams, I feel like there are so many tools out there and we could be doing things way more efficiently. We work in small client teams (1-3 team members per client usually) and it’s a mix of strategy, tactical, and outsourced HR work. Any suggestions?

I graduated with my bachelor's in HRM and I'm wondering if there are any certifications or trainings I could do before I lock down on the SHRM-CP. I recently became HIPAA certified for my company and that got me thinking about what else I could do to add to my resume. Looking for good stepping stone certificates.
First time founder - would you recommend square, stripe or something else for purchases between $150-$10k or what alternatively?
Ok folks, now that 2019 is coming to a close...What were your 2019 resolutions and did you actually stick to them?
Interested in economic development in emerging economies. Any room for exclusively focusing on this type of work in PE? And if so, any way for a consultant of 5+ years (minimal deal experience) to have any shot at this type of work at all? No MBA (yet).
Seems like the tolerance for having babies home during the work day is getting less now that it’s been a year and vaccines are here. Is everyone ready to go back to traditional childcare arrangements?
I woke up at 3 AM with Sunday scaries despite being off this week. Decided to look back at pictures/quotes I’ve taken screenshots of over the years and have determined I’ve been stagnant in life for a solid 3-4 years. Sure I passed the CPA exam, made senior, then manager, but my satisfaction with my job and life has remained low for that duration. Every year around now I start looking to leave but never do because industry seems boring. Any advice? 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
Guidehouse 🐠 : what happens if we go into negative PTO this year (since we’re moving to DTO next year?)

Currently in Knowledge Management & all of my projects support Learning & Development projects/initiatives. I’ve always liked L&D & just fell into KM after college (‘18 grad). Career goal is to be a CLO or in a similar role as I am passionate about building knowledge/learning orgs & ensuring employees have the right skills, knowledge, and capabilities to do their work. I know (& want) to transition to HC or LD focused work in the next 2yrs. Advice on transition? Do I need grad educ.? M? MBA?
I am interviewing to join another firm as leader of a small but growing BU. But I’m worried that it could be vaporware. Is it appropriate to ask about team quals, clients, team capabilities and resumes etc as part of my DD? Really want to understand facts on the ground before I jump ship. What’s the appropriate level of detail to probe into?
How to know when to jump from a small consulting firm to a big one? Besides culture are there any down sizes for making this transition. I don’t want to burn bridges with current client and company.
Any IVF mamas(-to-be) not experience any morning sickness? I’m 8.5 weeks and I’ve had nothing; baby looked good as of last week’s ultra. Wondering if the HRT is messing with me, or if it’ll hit soon? I now have a ton of anxiety about whether things are going ‘ok’
