Trying to narrow down my quarter life crisis. Currently I’m looking at a UX Design bootcamp, do people actually hire from these bootcamps?

What happens when someone sign an offer letter and decide not to join for some reason like joining a diff company?

When you recruiters say at the end of a 15 min call.
“I will get back to you by the end of this week” does that really mean “your not right for this position”? Because this whole thing is a waste of time. I’ve did these calls with 3 recruiters and is yet to hear back from someone. Today would be the 4th recruiter that I’ve spoken to. Does this practice annoy you guys just as much as it does us? My dream career is to be a technical recruiter but this whole thing is discouraging.

(1/2) Did she steal my work? I was a creative designer for an e-comm company last year. While I was there I hand drew a digital illustration for a package design assignment. They ended up repurposing it for a print on a dress. I haven’t added it to my portfolio yet, but I just came across my illustration on a portfolio. The girl who replaced me after I quit took my line work from the illustration and slapped their logo in the middle and put it on her portfolio as her work for the brand.

I want to accept the associate role for my own professional development and growth. Tips on leaving a role after 6 months without burning bridges? Is that possible? I feel somewhat guilty about leaving my team, but know I have to prioritize my career

Thinking about leaving to industry and wanted to get additional perspective. My reasons are: travel is negatively impacting me physically/mentally and I want more specialized, consistent experience.

Looking to relocate to the Las Vegas area and trying to get a feel for what pay would be for a dialysis technician with 10years experience.

I heard from my head that there is a lot of slowdown in VW Germany... There is Hiring freeze, level freeze and all ... And soon that will spillover to india. So be prepared for very less hikes in coming cycle :( Also automotive sector in general is struggling with tesla laying off 10% workforce recently. Maybe time to make a move? What do you say fishes?

Graduating Ph.D. program 2021, received offer from tiny boutique for 140TC+random small boutique benefits. Would be better commute, non metro area closer to home. Waiting to hear back from well known life science boutique (think ZS, Clearview, Putnam). Offer would be for NYC office, would likely relocate.

If offer is given, a) at what $ is this worth and b) is brand everything for first firm out of school?

Also would the life science boutiques reasonably pay more than that?

Hi! I interviewed for a Digital Marketing Analyst for an agency for Data Center and Telecom PR/ Tech. Since we are virtual country wide, he asked what my salary requirement would be for this role. I’ve recently transitioned from Travel Customer Service role (8 YOE) to Analyst in the same LOB. Earlier I resolved travel queries through calls/emails, but now my role is to analyse travel spending on Amex cards. Now I want to remain in analysis field and grow. I currently only use SQL, Power-BI and MS-Suite. What should I learn further? Which tools or is there a course I should do? I’ve only done Graduation and thinking of doing PGDM in Data Analytics or BI.
