Specifically I am interested in solos that do estate planning for this comment. Thank you!
I have not used NLBM (I wasn’t even aware of that company until you posted). I would be interested in hearing if anyone has used that company as well.
I use ElderCounsel and like their program. There is a companion WealthCounsel program as well which is geared more two estate planning for higher net worth clients and/or businesses. ElderCounsel is heavy on long-term care planning, but has a robust revocable trust and Will portion as well.
I use MyCase for practice management and lead tracking. My clients can interact through a portal and they like it (as long as they are tech savvy enough to navigate a fairly basic interface).
Wow, lots of great advice. Thank you for sharing!!
I joined NLBM in November and it’s been a life changer. It’s expensive and I know they changed their fee structure so I’m not sure of the price right now, but you learn about estate planning and how to market and run a business.
As a solo, just starting out, it was invaluable. I have a coach that I meet with monthly, there are about eight calls a month that are held and recorded so you can listen later, where you can ask questions and get feedback. There’s also a forum and Facebook group where you can do also ask questions and people share ideas, wording, etc.
The members are welcoming and helpful and everyone wants to see each other succeed. Also, it’s nice having attorneys that I can refer my clients to if they move.
