I have 1.5 YOE as a tech consultant at a large tech company, I'm based in the UK. I feel as if I've touched a lot of technologies but not mastered any. I'm looking for exit opportunities but not sure what I could apply to with my YOE and lack of specialism.

Any advice/ideas on how to plan for my next move or career step?

If I had stayed in the role I was in originally and grown with it, I’d be making maybe $120k, best case. I also wouldn’t have broken 6-figures in under 4 years by waiting.

The biggest lie that companies tell you is you can grow in a firm, both professionally and financially. The only ones that grow are already the people a) getting the promotions, or b) on the sales side.

If neither applies to you, the fastest way to achieve salary growth is to leave.

Hi All, I'm a senior associate consultant with 5.6yrs of experiences of overall experience in Telecom Industry.
Tech stacks - 3 years in Java,
1.5 years in spring boot,
3 years in kenan billing system.
My current package is 11lpa, completed 2.5 years in Infosys which is my second company (first- Accenture). If I switch now what will be package I can get as per current market trend. Need geniune suggestions as this might be the next big step in my career.
