The JD shared during the interview says : Project Role Description : Assists with the data platform blueprint and design and Key responsibilities is a. Pre-sales and solution ownership of sales pursuits data analytics related services for cloud b. Own end to end RFP or RFI etc. Does it mean work is on presales only ?

I am planning to shift to Data Analyst/Data scientist role. Right now i work for a project where I'm a software eng & we have to maintain our application on C++ code. It is more like support/dev and unit testing combined. Coding is hardly involved and my hold on DS is weak so not sure if I'll be able to crack technical interviews for C++ dev or anything similar.
So is this a right decision to move from application dev role to Data Science/analyst field? Does software engineer gets paid more?

I have recently given interview at Microsoft.
HR provided the feedback as I am not rejected bit not fit for the role so they have put me in talent plus pool. What should I expect next and does this mean that I may get the offer ?

What does everyone think of this... is replying all necessary ? I had a colleague reply all to complain about student evaluations that we had all agreed to complete. The colleague challenged the teachers who had completed the evaluation of a student and demanded that they check other students that had passed (since personally they thought some of those evaluations were questionable)... I’ve been at my clerkship for 5 years (4 with a different judge) and one with my current judge, and I heard horrible things about him before starting, but I assumed they were exaggerated.
