I was with Deloitte from start of financial year , ctc was around 7 lpa , no Tds deducted
I switched my company in Dec on a higher package , here TDS was deducted monthly
Have declared 80c ,hra deduction
I dont have any other income apart from this, do i still have to pay tax while filing ITR even though tds deduction happened

In clear tax its showing me around 70k tax due , m confused . Pls help

What are some pros and cons of switching to such options.

I’m starting my search for next gig. How important is to go through job description and modify my resume to include “certain” keywords? Haven’t done this ever. My current title and role definitely matches the roles I’m applying to.

I am currently working in a Big 4, post my MBA. But deep down I feel this is not my job fit (though I am ok with this). I want to work for FIs such as RBI, SEBI or pursue my PhD in Strategy. But fat pay cheques that corporate professionals earn (in the top and middle management) is bringing my motivation down. Would I be missing out an opportunity to retire much early? How do I deal with this?

Anyone else have difficulty turning around slides in a short period of time (20-30 minutes, or an hour)? Sometimes I need to sit and think about how I want to visualize the information or need to look up examples...
