Hey. Ok so for the points gurus, do you recommend I get the AMEX platinum with the 150K points now or wait next year for similar deal (which I don’t see often)? Current cards are CSP (got this last year) and Discover (got it a few years ago). Or that much travel left this year, but I feel like those 150K points would come in handy for a big vacation some time next year or so.

Has anybody experience in giving up the LPR status after leaving the US for work and residency in another country/homecountry? Lyft driver delayed picking me up 30 min, resulting in me canceling my ride and asking hotel to call me a “yellow taxi” to get to the airport because it was 5am and all ubers/lyfts were 15 min. Specifically said yellow. Hotel calls me a private lux SUV and the driver got out of the car to handshake the man who called and said hi (honestly money couldve been passed). I then get hit with a $180 ride. Marriott website says taxi should be $65. Should I complain or let it go?
