Hello, I’m an associate (almost at the one year mark) at a midsize firm on the EPL team. I did about 2 years of employment law as a clerk during school and know that’s what I want to go into. I’ve asked for more EPL work but keep catching PI cases. I second-chaired an employment trial but don’t see any EPL work for the foreseeable future and wasn’t getting as much EPL exposure as I wanted before the trial. Any advice on a lateral move to a bigger firm with a broader range of EPL work?

Creatives who left for tech. What is it exactly that you do now? Is it still writing or art directing? Or a different creative role? Hearing about people leaving for tech so I want to know what it means exactly aside from the benefits.

I currently working as project coordinator (on-site) for 3 months 10hrs everyday with package $75k, I want to move to remote or hybrid work but I only have 8 months of experience from my previous employer and I have completed my master's in construction management in 2021. How is the culture, decent folks or sharp elbows everywhere? Is the total comp as good as advertised or is this false advertising? I have offers from A&M and Alix and Strat& and am trying to decide soon. Not just looking at comp, but looking to work hard at a place where I can learn a lot too and like the people around me.
