Hi, I'm leaving Citi in 2 months. It's hard to make this decision. I have an offer from a small startup. In citi, my previous experience was not considered and was reskilled to different tech which is the reason for change.I don't like to exit citi. As I like the company so much. But considering my current knowledge,I am in the middle of the sea.I am afraid now that the new company's offer would be revoked due to this recession?Or can I take back my resignation in citi before the last working day.Is this wise decision?

Do you mind sharing how you landed a job in Belgium? Someone on your network referred you from the inside?
Based on my experience (I stayed for 6 years in Europe) , this is pretty average salary not a good salary. The taxes are pretty high (Ofcourse you get all the facilities for the tax you are paying) so your in hand would be much lesser. You can use online tools to calculate in hand. If you are planning to go with Family and kids your savings would be not more than 1 lakh inr equivalent per month. Based on your current India package it might not make much difference. If you want to experience European life and culture then it is a good place to live.
This make sense to me...
If you are moving to New country you should atleast save 1.5 time if not 2 time of what you are saving currently.(savings are, amount left after spending on food and rent)
Congratulations!
I've been trying for PwC Belgium. Unfortunately knowing Dutch was a reason why they got tossed out.
For salary metrics, I'd say reddit, payscale or glassdoor might be a much better place to find out - more expat people there I suppose.
It would be good if you negotiate for the monthly salary around 6.75 to 7.5 k monthly
Congrats on the offer! Do you work at PwC currently?
Thank you. No I don't.
This according to me is a very low salary salary. Don't compromise on salary/role just for the heck of going abroad .
Hey, what would be an ideal pay for OP's experience (6-8 I'd assume?) in Belgium or Europe?
Hey, Did you make this move? If yes - then how is/was your experience
