Is anyone applying to in-house jobs and wondering how to find out salary range before investing too much time with interviews? I would like to avoid asking about salary up front but I don’t see any other way to find this information.

I work as in house counsel, and a lot of the employees are not qualified for their position and don’t understand legal/compliance even though they’ve been trained and should be competent enough to understand. I am constantly cleaning up messes and repeating myself and teaching rudimentary skills to the same people every day. Does anybody else feel like this or have advice on how to get through to those difficult people?

I’ve been in an in-house role since the beginning of the year and just gave 2 weeks’ notice to leave for a much better paying and better titled position. The response has been very petty, to the point that I’ve been called unprofessional even after I asked the hiring attorney whether I could give longer notice at the current company’s request. Is this normal?

Is 90k base salary plus 10k bonus a normal offer for a Senior Associate (602) CB F&BM position in Plano, Texas?

Hey guys! Currently in WM ops at Morgan Stanley for the past 1 year dealing with alternative lending, I’m super underpaid with 3 years of experience which is very frustrating. (73k). Have been at Morgan for 1 year and looking to come over to JPM for an ideal pay bump, but would like to get into IB type roll. Any insight on what I should expect or how to go about applying? Maybe even getting referred? I have a deep knowledge of investments and always felt inclined to go down this route.

So, I truly enjoy wealth management, corporate and institutional solutions and being in a managerial position with 5+ years in this field and in a true management position. I have a B.s in Business Administration and MBA in Global Business Management Currently hold Series 7, 9, 10 and 66 and I’m looking for great opportunities in the Atlanta market. Why are there so many Private Client Advisor positions/ Private client Banker positions open?

Job offer… I’ve been offered a Client Service Associate role at JP Morgan (UK) and my expectations are around £35k but HR have said it’s around 32-33 and will get back to me next week. I received a verbal offer for a VP position at CCB line of business at JPMC in NYC two weeks ago. The recruiter asked for salary expectations but there was no number set. It’s been two weeks since and complete radio silence. I sent an email to a hiring manager a week ago but received no reply. It’s August so people could be on vacation but this is really strange. Has anyone had similar experience?
