Hello, what is working in retail banking like at JPMorgan Chase ? Specially the branch manager role. I’m looking in the Columbus area. How is pay, culture, benefits, sales environment, meetings, etc. How easy is it to transition from retail banking to corporate. I hear the Polaris campus has great opportunities, I was thinking about getting my foot in the door through retail then transferring to corporate ?

Some teams are still recruiting while for others it appear that we have more qualified candidates than the approved headcount.
Hope you all hear back soon though.
I received a verbal offer in the final interview 3 weeks ago and it’s been quite since then. I am also thinking a lot of people are out but I’m starting to see a trend
JPMC HR is shockingly awful, typically looking at 6 months+ recruitment process in my experience both as hiring manager and on the other end :)
Same experience. Just final interview. Email about getting an offer last Friday. It’s been radio silence.
Seems like Labor Day slowdown. Who knows they will come back next week. I’m also thinking of reaching out to recruiter but then .. too desperate move ? May cost few thousands lol if indeed they were going to call lol
I’d reach out for an update. I just went through the hiring process with JP and my recruiter was so bad.
I started the interview process in April. There have been long stretches of no contact. It was like they were ghosting me. Also have had several different recruiters involved. Just yesterday they contacted me about “final next steps” and asked for my availability for meetings today or tomorrow. I gave them my availability and again, no response. The lack of speed or communication is odd. They don’t seem like they are in a rush to hire at all. It makes me question the culture at JPMC.
I just started. I love the people in my department. Staffing / HR is dumb as bricks though. Really, they are so bad.
