Any open position for a CA fresher in JPM?
So Altman clearly beats out MBB in some sectors and is trying to position themselves as an MBB or perhaps tier 2 equivalent, but they’re just not matching the salaries. Why were Analyst salaries only raised to $95K when my friends at big firms (not just tier 2 but also MBB) will be making $100-120k as second years?
I am currently in negotiation with Agoda Bangkok for senior software engineer position. I am currently working in India. How much I should ask them during the negotiation? Also, if any Indian working at Agoda Bangkok can guide me with the kind of expenses in Bangkok as an expat?
Was laid off at Deloitte Digital and looking to take this opportunity to transition into a strat/product role. I have 2 YOE and did a lot of work with Salesforce strategy / implementation.
Are any companies hiring associate-level positions? Would love to network and have a coffee chat!
SaaS startup founders: The individual you hire to head marketing for your software-as-a-service startup must hit the ground running in a mission-critical role. But how to determine which applicants have the brand strategy, marketing operations, campaign planning, marketing analytics, and leadership chops to crush it? Exactly what experience profile is best? What questions will effectively reveal the all-stars? I've written an article that answers all these questions. Hiring? I'd like to apply!
Any suggestions for case study round?
From what I heard they give random business problem and ask suggestions
Should I probe more( means ask more questions to understand the problem )
Or should I suggest solution based on my understanding of the problem.
For asking more questions can anyone help with frame works/ pointers ..

Just for staffed on a project for my first life sciences client. Know nothing about the industry. Any suggested resources that I can use for industry knowledge? Or key things to google lol?
I’ve recently left the world of consulting and joined a tech startup and my role is to build partnerships with consulting companies and SIs. My working hypothesis is that referral bonuses won’t be enough of an incentive in formalizing a partnership with the likes of Deloitte Digital. You all make your money on implementation but our product is pretty simple right now and easy to implement. How else can startups create relationships with you? We want referrals & for you tell clients about us.
I have 4 years of experience in OTC collection, billing and cash applications, am currently planning to do Simplilearn Business Analyst master program. Will I be able to switch my career after the course, have anyone done the course?? I need suggestions !!!
From a tactical perspective... Is there a big difference between 1+2 vs. 1+6 experience? Are recruiters et al often looking at hard cut-offs? I’m post-PhD MBB (not PL/EM level)
Hey guys. So I just got an offer letter for amazon HRBP1 which is a L4 position and im getting offered 60,640. Is that consider low for a BP?
I recently wrapped up interviews with Citi bank and an offer seems very promising. Can anyone shed light on Citi banks culture? Or share their experience with the company so far?

Senior level folks who moved to A&M from Big4 - how do you feel about the approach to sales and sales targets at A&M ? Are sales generally network driven or do you feel you’re on your own to source clients/new projects ?
(1/2)Has anyone ever had their contract end early with no warning? I was hired as an “agile social designer” for a big box retailer as a freelancer. The gig posting said it was a couple months (until the end of june) but when I interviewed they said they were actually gonna extend me until next February. Anyways now they’re saying the whole agile team may be eliminated and I didn’t get any new work assigned this week… I’m kind of freaking out bc I thought I’d at least have until next month.
I’m currently looking for a career change into long term care. I currently work in a medical office assisting with scheduling appointments. I have a masters in health administration and I have a bachelors in health informatics. Does anyone have any advice on entry level jobs that can give me the experience needed to become a long term care administrator. Thank you

VA or DC - anyone preparing for McKinsey. I would love to prep with you (in person preferably but can do phone)
That moment when your "smart" plan to boost your hours this month by working the Labor Day weekend (thus turning down all the fun plans your friends made) becomes sitting on your hands & feeling dumb because all the partners are too busy to delegate anything. The worst kind of "off" day is one you planned to /wanted to work, but there's no billable work...
Would anyone be interested in having their content creation automated?
I’ve been able to automate Pinterest graphic creation, create TikTok videos w/cover and royalty music on demand.
I can automate way more. I primarily help content creators make passive income through content automation, evergreen traffic, and paid digital products.
I’m looking for a job, contract/freelancing, really open to anything.
Beyond content automation, I can automate a lot of processes.
Just got offer from deloitte audit senior1 as $80K ＋6K bonus in LCOL/MCOL. Is that reasonable?Deloitte

Have you had to change your start date after accepting an offer and how did it go? I told them I need to give 30 day notice and so I set my start date (incorrectly) assuming the background check and drug screen would take a few days to clear. However, the drug screen is now taking over a week and a half (still not finished, maybe tomorrow). Apparently things are much slower due to staffing issues and labs are backed up. It’s cutting into my 30 day notice significantly. Thoughts?
How long does it take for an offer to come in? I was told they are preparing me an offer beginning of this week? Thanks!
What law firm is your favorite for run of the mill employment issues in the US and internationally (India, Australia, UK, Germany, etc.). I primarily use Littler because they have a broad reach and decent rates but I’m wondering whether Bird & Bird, Ogletree, or some other firm has similar pricing and as good or better quality work. So, who are you using and are you happy?
What’s a reasonable amount for a counteroffer to an in house offer? Don’t want to give them heartburn but want to negotiate reasonably for my worth/cost of living. 10% of original offer? 15%? 20%?
Does anyone have experience with an assignment during the interview process for an in-house counsel position? If so, what kind of assignment did you receive? I have one coming up if I go to the next round and am wondering what to expect. Thanks!
My co-worker is so resentful and competitive because I was promoted over her last year which caused a demotion on her end. People in the company still go to her for things that should be for me but she rarely corrects them. Shes still involved in the company too in a way that allows her to know secrets that I should know about but never do. I technically am above her within the company but this is how things are. I just do my job and try to not let it bother me but it does. Any suggestions?
Understand practices might differ, but typically does the equity portion of compensation typically get granted every year, or is it a one time grant that vests over time? In the context of a publicly traded tech company. Thanks.
No poach agreements (i.e., we agree not to solicit each other’s employees) in customer contracts are a no-no for antitrust reasons, right? A customer is pretty adamant that they want it in but I feel like this is black and white. Would love to know if any of you are seeing them in your customer contracts and whether you’re including “unless prohibited by law” type of language to CYA.
Newly in-house. Apparently, it was bad to offer my opinion that slightly differed from the managers, even though I was invited by said manager to review their suggestion with an internal client. We collectively discussed how to make a document better. I responded to an email that said "hey you and internal client - could you both see my suggestions (which differed from the clients). Internal client didn't really agree, so I said "can we add managers edits but keep some of clients edits"
Any one in compliance at an investment bank? What was interview process like? How long is interview process?
Doing a remote interview tomorrow for an in-house position that I really want. Invite says "[company] is a startup, so a full suit is not necessary! Business casual attire is recommended." Like I said, I really want this job, and the idea of not wearing a suit is just weird to me
Should I still wear the suit or would it be counter productive?
I am starting to interview for some in house roles and starting to evaluate comp. How do folks in house see/value their incentive compensation (which vests over a number of years). Is it just something I bank on in a few years?
Cross-posted. Anyone have any experience working at Gallagher Bassett as a claims attorney? Also curious about benefits and flexibility with hours. Vacation days start at 10, which seems awfully low. Thanks in advance
Are you referring to non-legal employees? Because yes. There are certain very basic concepts I have to reiterate on almost every single call multiple times a week. It’s just part of the job. In fact it might be most of it.
I don’t think it’s that they don’t understand. They simply do not care. They think we slow them down or prevent them from doing what they want.
THIS. No desire to intake this knowledge no matter how often we tell them
Think of it this way - if people didn’t act like this corps would need way fewer lawyers and your ability to clean up messes would be less valuable.
Yes agreed, and corps hate spending money on lawyers unfortunately 🤣
That’s your job.
They don’t know and they don’t care. It’s why you have a job.
Yes. Every. Damn. Day.
Is it just me or are new hires getting worse due to the competitive job market?
Yes, new hires aren’t great in other departments I think this is an HR issue I don’t know
