Faced this weird behaviour from Optum recently. Gave interview for Data Scientist position. HR said feedback is positive. Asked for documents. It's been month now since I have shared the documents. I have no update on the offer. Today I called HR, she called me back saying the position is on hold due to recalibration in team, She has shared interview feedbacks to other teams and will get back to me in couple of days. I am clueless now. My last working day is approaching (In a month). Any Help??

Optum is not product based its captive. Optum even has multiple outsourced projects to which employee can be deployed.

You should go for optum. Being a product based company there will be more job security compared to nagarrow which is a service based.
Do your research OP, just as IBM 1 said we do have outsourced work i.e we doing service for others & overall we handle technical work for our parent company UHG/UHC's projects or as some say internal projects.
Most internal projects have decent WLB but direct manager plays a role in growth, WLB like things.
As for WFO thing, a lil flexibility is there depending on manager like a friend of mine will be going for only 2 days a week as his manager agreed. This u can discuss before joining to avoid last minute surprise.

You want to give tough client interviews everytime you change projects in a company? Join Nagarro . Just remember you should be really good at your skill set as the clients have High expectations and can ask you to leave anytime unceremoniously. Nagarro is a staffing company where client has complete control over you.
You want good WLB, Job security but Average hikes and slow growth, WFO ( 3 days a week) Join Optum .

Whats your yoe and techstack ? Nagarro would be preferable. Optum’s variable at this grade is merely 60-80% for avg and above avg ratings. Plus 3 days mandate work from office is also a big NO
Optum is anyday better than Nagarro! DM me if you want to get more info.. Nagarro has handful.of clients and will show its colors in recession

Nagarro. I moved to Nagarro from HCL, 3 months back. Good WLB, good projects. Only constraints getting project if you are in bench. I don't know about Optum.
