The best way to solve for WLB is to go higher up in levels, they can control their WLB. Managers, SMs, partners can control when they work and how they work much better than early career employees.
Deloitte will give you the highest bonuses and fastest progression. Target getting to Manager the fastest, because that resolves the WLB fix and pays well too
Early career folks work hard everywhere, you want to get to management the fastest. Which is where Deloitte will be good.
CTS and Mindtree are not even real consulting firms, they don't have the same level clients, most of their US clients are support/operate.
Most US companies will only target B4 or Accenture for marquee tech projects (their RFPs explicitly often say so) and MBB(McKinsey, Bain, BCG) or T2(Oliver Wyman, Ronald Berger, Kearney) for strategy projects. B4 has an intense monopoly on the real good work at Fortune 500, the likes of WITCH (Wipro, Infy, TCS, Cognizant, HCL) compete and win second rate work with cheap margins that B4, Accenture and MBB typically don't even compete for.
PS- I am based in the US and have directly competed against other firms for projects.
Thanks it's helpful. They have offered me Manager Designation.
If WLB is a priority don't even consider DI.
Oh God, 14-15 hrs is too much. If that is the average working hours then I would also not able to stay for very long. Thanks alot for sharing your experience.
Deloitte-For long term you can join Deloitte India but WLB will be worst there.
CTS- if want to stay for average tenure, WLB moderate.
Mindtree- if want to stay for long term, WLB is also good.
As you your priorities you should go for Mindtree.
Thanks for detailed response

Is 28 too less for manager designation?
