Hi All! I live in NJ and am looking to take a role where I’d be commuting to the city 4 days a week. I can figure out what transit will cost, but I’m trying to gauge what I’d pay in taxes living in New Jersey and working in New York. Does anyone know of an app or some sort of calculator I can use ? The recruiter I’m working with suggested I figure out what my take-home might be at the salary. I’m targeting to make sure that I’m not wasting my time interviewing for a specific role.

I have a Fidelity Brokeragelink account for my 401k. Every other year I switch from pre and post tax contributions. My money is spread over 3 ETFs currently. Does anyone know how this is tracked? Say if $100k is traditional 401k and $100k is Roth 401k, but they’re mixed, how can Fidelity track what funds are Roth/traditional? If I’m up 300% in ARKK, how can I or anyone else at fidelity tell if the cost basis was pre or post tax contributions?
