I have a Fidelity Brokeragelink account for my 401k. Every other year I switch from pre and post tax contributions. My money is spread over 3 ETFs currently. Does anyone know how this is tracked? Say if $100k is traditional 401k and $100k is Roth 401k, but they’re mixed, how can Fidelity track what funds are Roth/traditional? If I’m up 300% in ARKK, how can I or anyone else at fidelity tell if the cost basis was pre or post tax contributions?

My parents are visiting from India and plan to stay 2-3 months. Would you recommend them getting health insurance for that duration? If yes, is it better to get one from here or in India? Any particular recommendations?

Does anyone else hate medical coding? I got my CPC and loved learned all about it! But once I started actually working in it, I hate it. They talk about how it’s all about translating procedures to numbers. But it’s not! It’s all about Money. All about how much RVUs the codes have so the provider gets the most reimbursement.
