Meta technical solutions consultant interview prep - can someone let me know if they have gone through the technical rounds for Technical Solutions Consultant role? Can you share what to prepare for since it’s not a data science type of role so most likely not hard level MySQL questions. Any specific types of queries that I should learn? Thanks!

He should look into deal tech. If he still likes the technology angle from m&a.
McKinsey/Bain don’t really hire sophomore interns so not surprising that you didn’t get an interview. Are you at a target school? Biggest thing is that you’re focusing on case prep right now.
I go to UMich
I'd as learn much as you can from your current internship, network with ey parthenon/current consultants to learn about being a better consultant, and case prep as well

Reach out to recruiters via LinkedIn and network network network!!!! Does your institution have informational sessions from big 3?
Don’t sell your soul and be a McKinsey shill
Hey mate,
I would suggest firstly doing well at the EY internship to get some experience and references.
Next reach out to folk on LinkedIn. Can't hurt.
Thirdly, as mentioned earlier I think your junior year is when McK etc will offer internships.
Good luck!
