I've been asked to work on 2 projects on a shared basis, yesterday i saw the other project's source code and it's a huge mess!!
It's legacy and so confusing, the guy who explained the source code himself wasn't aware what it does.
How do i refuse to work in this project, help pls.

This isn’t really an interview question but more of an on-boarding question.
Bit of background- I left my job of 3 years in Dec 2021 for a new company. Initially, I thought the company was great but my mind quickly changed. The on-boarding process was horrible, minimal training, thrown onto enterprise project 2 weeks in, over time, and there is no process for anything. I ended up hating my job.

Fast forward to Mid March, I started applying for jobs again but I omitted this role.

Can someone help me on what should one ask for B8 position for project management having 8 years of experience .

ISO remote positions doing data entry, education technology, curriculum development, project management, customer support specialist. My experience is 7 years of teaching experience with 2-3 years experience of clerical work, team leadership experience, daily operations management.

But actually how do you bill your time? (and don’t say contemporaneously)

Say you spend 2 minutes answering an email to a client earlier in the day and then 3 minutes on another email later in the day. Do you bill 0.1 or 0.2? More importantly, how do you keep track of that throughout the day?

What would you do?
My company contracts a web developer, we have a set amount of hours for the quarter and pay over if more work is needed.
He never gets anything done. Doesn’t answer emails half the time. The one thing he’s done was take out a blurb that threatened our eligibility for patent renewal.
We have another company taking over in January, but I still have some pretty important dev needs until then and I can’t get him to do a thing. I truly try to give him all he needs.

Anyone know how to get a position as an HRBP without HRPB experience? All positions I've looked at want previous experience. Would over 5 years of HR experience and a PHR suffice, or what skills should be added to that?

What is work-life balance like in big tech legal? I’m currently in house at a large multinational; I like my job and I get paid fine, with a very good WLB (40-45 hrs). I want to look into FAANG-type opportunities as they would mean a huge pay bump, and I think I’m qualified, but I have no idea about the hours, and I don’t want to substantially give up WLB, as that’s why I left BigLaw. I don’t want to be miserable again. I know Amazon is poorly reputed for lawyer WLB… what about other places?
