I think it should be fine to reenter within the next couple weeks since you already have a valid visa, a valid EAD card, and a valid I-20 that is signed by a Designated School Official (DSO). Someone correct me if I'm wrong?

I have everything but the updated i20 would be invalid as they have the company name on it but I don’t have the job anymore
A week late to this post but I don’t even think they check your employment status at the port of entry. I could be wrong but they typically just ask you instead of looking for the info. If your visa is valid you should most probably be good. But like the others in here said, you should contact an immigration attorney to confirm. Hope it works out well for you.
I think you’ll be fine to re-enter because after a layoff, you have 60/90 days to find another employer or leave the country at that point unless there’s a change in your status. confirm with your school’s international student group
that may be so but confirm with your DSO. either way, it may be helpful to return while you’re still in the window— your valid visa and OPT card are the main docs you need
Are you getting severance? You should check with your company if the last of of employment is the last day that you receive a paycheck if so, if you're receiving severance, you should be OK either way I suggest talking to a lawyer because this is a grey area from what I remember
also, I reread your post and realized that you are on OPT, I believe that that's more flexible than being on H1 in terms of re-entering because your OPT should be valid for 90 days regardless of your employment, but again just double check. here is a useful reddit thread https://www.reddit.com/r/f1visa/comments/16grrse/travel_during_opt_without_job_offer_f1_visa/
