Hello, first post here. Outside sales, merchant services/card processing. I’m primarily a welder but I work 4 10-hour shifts typically then I try sales the last three days. I’ve done it long enough to where I’m confident and comfortable going to new businesses, establishing some rapport with business owners. But it seems like a lot of businesses see this as a waste of time, even adding services and cutting costs. I guess either I’m looking for advice or considering not doing this anymore.

I passed out in 2013 and started job in 2015 on contractual basis till mid 2017 and during this Many payroll companies changed for that particular contract and in this duration my PF, tax didn't deduct and no record in PF portal. Then joined Infosys in mid 2017. So now wanted to know can I show my experience from 2017 to apply in companies as for bgv many companies ask for PF statement or form 16 for all previous companies. I proceed to ask how much PTO is offered and he said that is not recommend within the first 6 months of working and the harder you work the more PTO you receive. Looking to get into SaaS sales but my experience is in construction and fine furniture (I was a sales manager and was able to lead my team of 4 people to consistently hit 450k monthly targets). Curious what the base and commission structure is for inside sales and associate director of sales in biotech (also anyone else who wants to share pls put industry). Paid hourly or salary? At the biotech company I work at avg inside sales is $62,632 with a $3500 per quarter cap. Commission structure is % based on sales quota reached vs capped (not a direct % of sales). I’m underpaid at $53000 with $3500 cap per quarter.
