Issues- client interviews , bench periods and layoffs .

Apart from TCS, there is no company which will give you job security and get you projects/billable, bench periods are longer ,and salary on time.

Every service base company behaves the same way EPAM does or maybe they are worse idk but if they are paying more than the rest of the service base companies then all these things will always be there.

Hi guys, I got an offer from x and i discussed that with my current. At 1st current said they can only give 30% increment. I said I can't stay with this cause i got 70% and expect at least 50%(as the 70% included VP and the current org don't have vp, they have bonus). Then they said they can do max 45%. I really wanted to stay here so I said okay to current. Then now hr called me and said they are matching the offer(no vp). What should I make out of it? What made them change their mind?
