Hi all - this could very well be a question that’s already been asked but I am currently an internal consultant and am interviewing for consulting firms for the first time - all within the healthcare payer space. How should I approach preparing for cases and what could I expect - would it be similar to the prep materials for MBB firms? I’m interviewing for positions at firms like Huron/Chartis/West Monroe.

Does your firm give you credit for hours that were written off? Sometimes I feel if you don’t lose anything for hours cut from the bill, you have incentives not to be 100% honest w/ your timesheet.

I have a partner who routinely ignores emails or responds to them several weeks later. He has to approve every single document sent to the client or the court, which means you have a physically go to his office to ask him to review something. Half of the time you go to meet with him in person, he’s either on a call or otherwise busy. I find that this basically creates more work and makes meeting deadlines extremely difficult. Is this normal?

I interviewed with capgemini for SAP ABAP role and my YOE is 4 years. Just 2 hours after my interview, I got a call from someone at Capgemini saying that I am selected.
They just asked my notice period and current location.I asked them, what is the next round going to be and they said that it is going to be salary discussion. But till now, no one has reached out to me.
Does it mean they got another candidate for same job?
If they get back to me, how much should I ask?

ZS fish, Is there a Senior Consultant level at the firm? I am currently a M3 in Lighthouse at 174k base (7.5YoE) doing data science.
If SC doesn't exist, is Manager a good level to target, or is Consultant more like it? Looking for 200k base at a minimum.
Expect my current year TC to be around 200-210k.
