What advise will you give if I want to cross skill myself in Data Engineering? I have started learning sql but I am not much of a coder, i understand how tech works and have led API integration projects but I personally don't like coding on IDE etc. I like it more from a product owner perspective.
I was recently laid off and since then everyone is suggesting learn new skill 😓 Data Engineering seemed interesting.
Need some opinions 🙏

Dont want to spread too much, but what do I do if I feel that I will be let go by my 90 days? I currently dont have anything lined up, but want any advice so I dont have a lapse in income, and can stay in social media/marketing as I made a career change into this.

I work in a corp environment & wondering what others think about this -

I have a large team and after me, I have a supervisor and a manager who my supervisor reports to. The manager recently got promoted to director & my boss is likely to take her role within the next 6 mos.

I was promoted in aug and wondering if it’s crazy to ask for another promo after my boss gets manager. This wouldn’t be for 6-12mos & I will be in my role for close to a year.
