Hello!
I finished my final round(s) for a TAM position at Google (GCP) last week and was told by my recruiter that my feedback was great and that I made a solid impression on the team and am "firmly in the running". I was supposed to hear back this week (according to the recruiter) but he just told me that it's still in the process and that I'll have to wait for another week or so.
Is this common at Google ? I have heard they are notorious for being really slow with their hiring process.
I had interviews with EY, recruiter reached out for desired salary, I informed $170k as base, yesterday he reached out to provide an update that it would $160k and 10% bonus and it’s pending for approval from partner and it might take a week or two , when should I start negotiating the salary? Should I wait offer letter or should I start right away?

Hello mates,
Just joined Infosys on Monday and got a call today for an opening in Unilever project. The person mentioned that I will be replacing another resources for now who is on medical leave and would be working on something that is a little below my skill level. Once that resource is back (after 2-3months) I would be transitioning to a better role with more options to look and learn.
As I'm very new here, should I be trusting the word of mouth? It all happened over call. Please suggest

It's a 3rd party provider. If you are luck they can give you a good client otherwise the clients are hopeless. They will promise you that after 3 months they transfer you on the client payroll, but that won't happen so easily. You need to fight for that. And client and edgeverb won't pay you well. But you will get salary on time. I would suggest you to ask for a good hike and ask them to give you a written proof that you will get client payroll after 3 months if you like the company. It has office in mumbai and main office in kolkata. Butter to get direct payroll job. It took 5 months for me to get the client payroll and salary was not hiked by learningmate
Thanks but it's a corporate function role so no client payroll...I asked for 59% hike
