Made the pivot from Big 4 to Bain and frankly underwhelmed. Seems like Bains Ops capabilities / general knowledge resources / white papers are lagging the industry quite a bit. Miles behind BCG / McKinsey as well. Literally only good for PE and nothing else.

I once asked a colleague at a radio company how much he's paid monthly, and he outright refused to tell me. In fact, he found it very odd that I asked. I later learned that he was making double my salary. I know it's not an employee's job to fix pay inequity by sharing their salary figures, but I'm still of the opinion that it helps uncover pay gaps. I am a Certified Pharmacy Technician, with 21 years of experience. I work at an independent pharmacy outside of Charlotte, NC. I make $18.75 an hour and had to fight/beg for that. I do not feel that I am being paid near enough for the work I do. I am wondering what others in the area make, so I can go back to my boss and ask for more.
