How much to include in your resume?? So I’m 44 y/o and have been actively working with no “gaps” since I was 18. My resume is packed but I feel it may be too much and it feels dated. I want to freshen it up as I’m considering a change. Should I go back 10yrs and leave it at that? Should I simplify the resume? It’s a fine line between easier to read and watered down. Thanks your input!!

I’m currently in IT Audit at a B4. Thinking about switching to cyber because ITA feels like it could be done by a high schooler and there aren’t any exit ops. Is the grass much greener in cyber? What do you like/dislike about it?

Do I need a new H1B Stamping? I extended my visa last year (new expiration date: 2024 Summer) and got my visa stamped accordingly. Since then, I changed firms and transferred my visa, which now has a different expiration date (i.e 2024 Winter). I honestly don’t know why the date got longer with just a transfer. Anyway, would I need to get my visa stamped again since the date of current i797-A (winter 2024) is different from my previous i797-A/latest visa stamp?

My coworker has just resign and I’m thinking of talking to my manager to see if instead of them hiring a new employee to increase my salary (my current salary + what this coworker is currently making) and I will take care of all of her responsibilities. I’ve been to a few interviews for other jobs, but I either don’t get a call back or the salary is too low.
Is this a good idea?
My main concern right now is to increase my salary. Have many bills to pay and want to start saving.

What is a good ratio of billable hours to total hours?

Obviously the "ideal" is 100%, but as the junior attorney at a small firm, I'm do the guy taking all the prospective client cold calls, and it can seriously cut into my day.

My goal has been to spend at least 75% of my time on billable work. Reasonable?
