Being a mother, I have anxiety and nervousness about joining a service based company bcoz of doubts below.
1. Job security, considering the upcoming recession is it safe to join TW at this time?
2. How good is WLB at TW for a Lead Consultant? Approx working hours on a daily basis?
3. How flexible is TW for WFH?

I have an offer to join a startup as an APM. The only downside is that the engineering team is located offshore in India. I’m concerned about the resulting impact because of 1) the potential late night calls 2) the learning opportunities missed by not working with a US engineering team (communication tactics, translatable skills) 3) potential exit opps into FAANG pm roles due to not having experience with an onshore eng team. Advice on applying to PM jobs with 1yr APM experience?

I’ve been working as an APM at my current company for 1yr, and have basically been doing the work of a full blown PM the entire time. I’ve lead several features from start to finish and made sure to mention in my resume that I have been doing everything a regular PM does. Has anyone ever hired an APM for a PM role or done it yourself? Any tips? Advice?

Any jobs out there that don’t require independent / analytical thinking? Really burnt out from thinking and would love to switch to a more routine position. Yes this is partly imposter syndrome talking.

As I'm moving to a new role in a small company, I have a doubt about my salary structure like the Basic salary part is only 20,000 while my take home is 62k after all deductions.

I'm concerned because the leave encashment & other things totally depends on the basic salary.

Are there not any rules for the Basic salary to be at a certain % of CTC or it depends totally on the company?

Also PF deductions they are offering only 1800 p.m but considering 20000 basic it should be 12% of 20000 right?
