Help. I’m training for a marathon and I’ve found that during longer runs (both inside and outside) I’m experiencing a ton of mucus / drainage in my throat that I don’t experience day to day....

I don’t entirely mouth breath. I do a half mouth breathe-in onto a nose breath-in and breathe-out through the mouth.

I’m def doing that buts it’s so thick it’s impacting my breathing. FWIW reddit says eat less dairy but I don’t eat much to begin with .

Do you have asthma? That’s a typically symptom of it You also could be dehydrated.

OP, are you mouth breathing literally? That could be the reason too.

Not sure how one runs without mouth breathing?

I just got a really great offer, only downside is the eligibility for maternity leave is after 12 months of employment. We got a faint positive today but have had so many chemical pregnancies over the past year that I am not confident it will stick this time BUT I am on aspirin and progesterone for this try … so it could.. This question may not be related. However I wanted to know from personal and family point of view how it is like to relocate from India and live abroad .
Let's say Family consists of husband , wife and a kid . I understand we will get good facilities, education, cleanliness , good air etc , however I wanted to check whether people gel up easily in the new environment? Don't they feel loneliness/ difficult to adjust? Do they look for similar asian nationalities to kill boredom?

Just restarted stimulants and already I'm dealing with twitches again. Does anyone else get these? No type of pain or anything just every once and a while my body will twitch strongly. Afterward I feel normal, but it's a bit annoying, and I can't control it at all which is a little disconcerting. Don't remember this from when I took stimulants as a kid, but it's been a while.

I’ve been a freelance print production designer for many years, and usually on-site in the before times. Now I work remote, and am finding it uneasy dealing with billing. Before I always billed hourly, which made sense, but it’s becoming an issue now. Some companies don’t have a full days’ work, so it seems wrong to bill full days, and it allows me to juggle projects for different companies, but my billable hours are down. I know I should bill a daily rate, but not sure that will fly. Thoughts?

Question: How do you get your heart rate down?
Perspective: I am 24 and run 25 miles a week. My average heart rate is usually 175 but gets up to 200 (worrisome). My heart rate recovery is 55-75 after three minutes. I just don’t understand why my heart rate gets so high if I’m healthy. Am I breathing wrong?

Kind of a new distance runner here (completed my first half mara last month) and am usually run on treadmill for workouts during the week. I also wear an Apple Watch. Have noticed that my Apple Watch tends to say I’ve run a longer distance, at a faster speed, than treadmill. (It’s usually up to 0.5 miles off and 0.5mph off in speed). Anyone experience this? Not sure what to trust but assuming Apple Watch. Thoughts?
