Since I pivoted into TA (from the Wild West known as Finance) Tech Recruiting has always been the goal. But I’m having a hard time finding a way to get into that space (I do understand there’s a hiring crisis). Nevertheless, does anyone know of tech companies that are hiring? I started working for a bank and am going through the background check. They found an arrest which was dismissed and the file was sealed a few days after the check. They’re requesting the police report on top of the court order to seal. The police report is BAD. During the arrest (DUI) they wrote the report to make me seem like a complete lunatic. Embellished on several elements of the case. I am worried that giving them this report will cause me to be let go.

I started at a company 4 months ago. Remote position. Didn’t receive equipment or access until 2 months in. Boss rarely hits me up. No training or projects. Other than 1 report I send daily, I am sitting all day, waiting. Big company. Pretty sure I was a diversity hire and in comparison to my peers, under-qualified. I’m blessed bc salary is great and remote role, but not challenged and if ever a lay off - I’d for sure be on list. I can do personal things and side hustle, but what would you do?
