Find a second job that doesn’t present a conflict of interest. Enjoy this bonus paycheck.

I would save up as much as possible and learn new relevant skills just to be on the safe side and also what D1 suggested if possible

I would use the extra time you have on a regular basis for a nice side hustle. Career wise - I would look up conferences and/or networking opportunities so you can build your portfolio with people you could/would potentially work for down the road. Good luck, OP! 👊🏼🫶
Great answer and definitely worth taking a look into those conferences and such!

You should find more things to do in the role for it to be sustainable.
Ask for more to do and then propose a training plan so you are able to do it. It sounds like you’ll sleep better if you take that route.
I asked for more maybe a month ago and haven’t really seen much come in since. You’re right though, nobody likes to feel useless and replaceable

Yeah go ahead and send me an apply link🤣
Same lol
I’ll take that position, I’m in the market for a position - I’m a minority and 1st gen College educated 😂
Work on upskilling so you keep progressing if you're not learning anything in the job
In my masters program learning a bunch of skills currently- will be finished in 2 years! Thank you!
That's awesome tho. You're paid by yeo. Had an old coworker who was terrible at his job but had more yeo than me. Switched jobs and make 40k more than I do. You'll be fine
Also have a friend who's a lead analytics consultant. The guy make 150k in mcol. He works 20 hr a week. So that's normal for a large company
