Hi ENFPs! Would love to hear your tips on how you handle this. I get great feedback on people based things (client, team coaching), but continually pushed on drilling deeper (cont.)

I send a morning update with deadline approximations to my PL to keep myself accountable - forcing myself to review about 20 minutes before sending status updates cutting down on errors

, fully solving the problem etc. I think I just don’t think as detailed as some leaders/client expect me to.

Think this is partially an ENFP thing. I’d love to hear tips on how you force yourself to get to the detail and be super thorough?

like

I keep pushing myself level by level. Like, I start at my high level and then ask myself what it would take to make the thing happen. That tends to lead to a lot of details and then even more.

Or I pretend the person editing what I am doing is one of those detail nuts. I ask myself, can I make what I just did smaller or more granular? Is there a linear path to get to point a to point b or does all of my supporting evidence support what I am proposing?

I have a Q that I worry is going to make me sound like a jerk, but want some opinions. I do strength training 2x/wk with a trainer who was assigned to me at a gym where I bought a pack of sessions. I don’t really consider myself “his” client bc the relationship is managed by the gym… but lately he keeps saying like “I can’t wait to see what my clients give me for Christmas” and I find it super awkward. I pay $150 per session for these workouts (cont’d in comments)…

I'm very proud to be an ENFP, but the flaws that come along with it (distraction, procrastination, disorganization) seem like a recipe for disaster. I'm not sure if I should spend this next month trying to change my habits or if I should just embrace it. Anyway, what advice do you all have?
