How many here also have ADHD?

Have 2 kids now and close to late 30s. I am diabetic but otherwise healthy. Looking for life insurance policies. I don't know where to start. What should be coverage and monthly premium i need to target. I don't trust agents as they will try to get me into something i don't understand and may get locked up. Any good resources online or companies that are recognized for providing coverage. What type of policies you guys have.

Associate in the NY office of a magic circle firm. Been really struggling with mental health issues for a long time - I feel like I’m begging for guidance/supervision and not getting any, and can’t get any support junior-wise either. I just get told I’m doing a “good job” but I’m pretty sure that’s just because no one is looking. Is the expectation just to magically figure out how to get things done solo, even if it’s the first time to do it? Is it better at NY-HQ firms that have more resources?

Dealing with post partum dep/anx. On my 5th day of Zoloft 50mg for the first time and the days are still really really hard. Is it the side effects? How long before I should feel somewhat better/normal? Really struggling today. Any insight into your experience would mean a lot.

So I just had 2 tables fight in a restaurant. Table A coughed and table B said oh covid and laughed. Happens that table A is Asian and table B is white.
Table A assumed the joke is because they are Asian and table B says no, everyone got covid not just Asians it’s just a bad joke; who is right?
Table A escalated to a fight and had to be both separated and asked to leave. Who is right?

Never had panic attacks before and have had three in last few weeks. It’s terrible, I thought I was having a heart attack the first time. Has anyone experienced this and what treatment helped?

Turned down a six figure gig - I make a mistake?

I’m 29 with a liberal arts BA undergrad. I make 67+k working a comfortable job editing due diligence reports for a global background check company. It’s kind of boring factory line-esque work but there is a good work life balance - I rarely work more than 40 hrs a week and get 5 and half weeks of PTO (this is inclusive of vacation and sick days, but I rarely take those). Health insurance seems average-a bit below average.

How does a sole engineer at a company go about getting management to actually care how production machines run? I’m the only mechanical engineer at my company dealing with a half dozen cranky production managers who think that I can “work my magic” on a machine. It’s not magic, just ignorance about the machine actually works. How to I get a manager to stop caring about the end product long enough for me to actually teach them about their own machine?

Hi everyone!! This is exactly the group I've been looking for. I'll be starting my new (and first) consulting job at ZS Associates at the end of the month and I'm so nervous that I'll crash and burn. I'm very proud to be an ENFP, but the flaws that come along with it (distraction, procrastination, disorganization) seem like a recipe for disaster.
