For those of you who made the switch to in house/corporate law, what was your experience like? Did you have to take a lower position to gain the experience or were you able to argue that your soft skills were transferable to in house? I’ve been in litigation for 15 years and I’m looking to make the switch. Ultimately, I’d like to get into Legal Ops, but feel getting some in house experience first would be beneficial.

How's Vodafone project culture in noida.

I have a governmental entity client in Texas that wants to offer 6 weeks of paid parental leave for all employees, even those who aren’t eligible for FMLA. After the paid 6 weeks, the employee can choose to continue paid leave using any accrued personal leave.

Texas does not have a paid parental leave statute.

If paid leave above what is required is offered for parents, do we also have to provide the same benefit to other employees that are eligible for unpaid leave?

What are peoples thoughts on working for a Banking Company in a Product or Tech role? I know there are mixed feelings since it’s not working directly with interest, etc.

I have about 1.5 years of progressive digital marketing experience, and prior to this, about 2 years of people management experience in a different industry. I’ve been offered a middle management position with company I’m currently at that requires me to manage 4 others below me, but is only offering a $5k salary increase - to $65k. I applied for a job at Visa and was contacted the same day. A few days later I had a 30-minute screening interview with the hiring manager. I knew I was very early in the process since the job had only been posted for a few days. It's been 3 weeks and I haven't heard back, even after reaching out to the recruiter.
