Hi everyone. I have joined UKG on 3rd march 2025 i was 1 month pregant that time i have not inform HR that time. What do you suggest is the best time to inform my manager about it. I m scared because i have 6 months of probabation period what if i told them and they fire me in probbation period saying some reasons about productivity.

They cannot fire you just because you are pregnant. But please check with your hr about maternity policy. Sometimes company gives maternity policy if you join 6 months before pregnancy. Something like that. I am not sure.

Most of the companies have some initial period that you should have worked for organization before baing eligible to start maternity leave , its usually 6 months so if you are starting leave after 6 months it should be ok

My joining date is coming closer, however education background checks are still processing ( international degrees) . My onboarding coordinator told me that I can still join even if education check is still in progress, provided there wont be any flags. I don’t see any issue with my degrees and have done same with my past companies.
Anyone experienced this ? Any problem joining while check is processing ?

I got a remote L6 SWE offer at Google but the RSUs are too low for that level ($625k over 4 years), could not negotiate it higher. I’ve accepted the offer but trying to be hopeful that I could make it more equitable in the future if I perform well.
