Free advice from family and friends won’t help you much, consult with a paid therapist.
A good therapist will immediately put you on a course of self-care, such as meditation, and analyzing your daily habits, such as sleeping, eating, and exercise, to see where you can benefit.
When you’re in the middle of a work whirlpool it’s hard to sit down and analyze things with proper perspective, take it from someone who knows. Good luck!
A fish cannot swim in milk. Find something new.
Spoken like a true Oracle...
The same happened to me. I resigned from a job I had for years to work for a different company that was bad. I can relate. Save your money as you are looking for another job. It is easier to get an offer when you have one. Network with your friends, neighbors, former bosses, college alma mater, and anyone you know that is connected to a company you like. To find some relief try daily meditation, therapy, talk to friends, family, and focus on companies that are voted the best employers... by Forbes, Glassdoor, and others, publish the company lists. As Winston Churchhill said, "when you are going through hell, keep going."
I am sorry to see you in this vurnable position
My advice to you just take a break for sometime and look yourself up in which way you are lacking things .
Sometimes in our life we chose and we take wrong decisions that leads us to this kind of circumstances. What are the cause of these problems that causing you so much of problems in your life ...
All i can say take care of yourself and if possible do some mediation... Avoid taking alcohol to get rid out of this problem temporary... Don't go for any anti anxiety medicines that will later leed you to drug addiction..
God bless you
If it’s as extreme as you make it out to be then you have two options
1. Have a serious conversation with whoever your coach/mentor/manager is and ask for their help
2. Quit
I recommend the 1st option but it will only work if you’re prepared to be vulnerable and at the same time willing to listen to what they say.
My sister was in the same situation and quit BUT made a very specific plan beforehand. She figured out what her required expenses were each month and made a plan to ensure she would be able to meet those obligations. She did grocery delivery every day to make money, took on other random jobs, cut out non-essential spend, etc. Depending how bad the situation is, this might/might not sound worth it to you but don’t quit without a plan because that will affect your mental health too.
She did this for about 4 months before she ended up landing her current PA job that she’s now been at for 4 years.
Hi! I'm sorry to hear what you are going through. I'd negotiate 1-3 months of Search time (50% work and 50% job seeking) , hope this helps ...
No job should stress you like that. Focus on finding something new and review how to reduce the stress where you are now, if you cannot afford to quit.
