Hi everyone. I will be receiving offer from Barclays for AVP position and I've been told it's 2 day work from office role in Pune. However, my hometown and family is in Gurgaon.

I wanted to ask if it's allowed to work 3 days from Gurgaon during WFH days? Do I need to update my manager about it everytime I take a flight home? I am planning to fly home 1-2 times a month during WFH days to stay connected with family.

Assuming this causes a recession like in 2008, and many people get laid off, how long to take to find another similar paying job? I’m currently a strat manager in FS. Scared for job.

After you are stealth laid off, other than job search, what do you do? I assume they won’t give you work and even if they do, you can politely decline? How do you feel about you are not progressing anymore and seeing other people progressing in their career? I have no intention to make partner, but still feel a bit stuck not doing that much.
