Curious, what do companies use to evaluate performance if you don’t have reliable metrics? A technical workforce that is valued for their daily outputs vs projects, goals, etc. but there’s not a consistency or way to measure quality or amount of work being completed.

I am in the process of finishing up my MBA but considering also getting my SPHR or PHR cert. Is it even worth it or a waste of time and money?

Does anyone have any connections at GE?

Percentage-wise, is there a higher percentage in getting more likely hired by an organization when an inhouse direct hire recruiter versus a third party recruiter is arranging the interview process? Are the chances with an in-house direct hire recruiter much much better therefore that building more repertoire with them versus third party recruiters hold more weight in landing the role?

Also, organizations would also be saving money through their own in-house recruiter I presume?

What is a typical Salary and bonus for North American Sales Director

Here is my question to the Sales Bowl. What will it take to leave your current role to take on a new one? This can be switching companies and doing the same job, changing responsibilities within your firm, or changing companies and roles.

I work in tech sales selling a software development tool. I work with a lot of partners who help my customers use the tool to build apps and websites. I’m starting a new sales job in cyber security (old and new companies don’t compete). I was approached by a partner of my old company to advise for them part time (5 hours a week). I plan to commit 100% to my new job but would like to try the advising thing for a month, part time. Does anyone else do something similar? FTE + consult on the side?

I am looking to gather different tools to do a salary analysis for the company I work for.. what kind of tools does everyone use?

I’m taking the SPHR in less than 2 months and haven’t started studying for it. How difficult is it? I’ve been in HR for 20 years and have experienced ALOT in that time, although there are always employee relations scenarios that surprise me! How much do I really need to study for this? I just can’t seem to motivate myself to do it, I’m so mentally burnt out at the end of the day from a high stress HR job, the last thing I feel like doing is studying HR!

Feel like I’ve fallen out of love with sales. Love talking with people / presenting. Have been in my new role for a month, was promised a team to generate leads and all I do is cold call all day. I'm currently a Staffing Specialist, very early in my career (9months). My long term goal is to become a Generalist. I feel fairly confident in my role and after much advice from you all, was able to have a conversation with my boss about pushing my SHRM-CP test to next Spring.

i have selected with 7 lpa in cts im getting 4.5. im confused to switch company or not im pretty new to the project in cts and i need to know this vodaphone they are mentioning like its vios(vodafone intelligent solutions). im not sure weather this is mnc or not. how was the job security. is it worthy to switch job.
