I'm currently working as an Automation Test Engineer and have around 5 years of experience. I've been thinking about switching my career to Data Engineering, but I'm not sure if it's the right decision.

I'd love to hear from people who have experience in either field.

Is moving from Automation Testing to Data Engineering a good long-term career move?

Hated my time at the F300 but had thought the grass would be greener in industry.
