I’ve cleared all rounds at Infosys BPM Limited for a Senior Process Lead – Sourcing & Procurement role (6 years experience). HR mentioned a max budget of 14 LPA, but my current CTC is ~19 LPA.

The hiring manager was very positive and suggested not to go below my current compensation of 18 lpa.

Questions:

How much can HR realistically stretch beyond 14 after internal approval?

For folks that are in the interview process, are u negotiating for best salary or just taking what you get , asking because market is slow cause of Covid.

Just saw that Airbnb's salary range for a 2+ years experience Data Scientist in US is 129k -180k USD.
In INR its 95L- 1.4cr. But in India do they pay even 30L to 4 years yoe?
Last year I saw such salary range for 4+ yoe in US. But in India its yet to increase.
In this quarter these companies have started negotiating in the name of US recession. Irony is salary range didn't decrease in the place where the recession is supposed to occur.

Hi Fishes, I'm in a huge dilemma now. Im currently working with TCS and my CCTC is 10.29 LPA and I hold 2 offers, one with with Bank of America for 17.5 LPA Fixed and with CTS for 19 LPA.
My last date is Dec-30 and I received a call today from TCS HR for retaining me for 16 LPA max.
