Bain & Company Hi everyone, just have a question for my Bain & Company friends. So I had my final round two weeks ago, and the team still have not made a decision. They’ve told me they’re still considering candidates, and now I’ve been told they still need more time. I’m assuming this is just a rejection right? They’re probably just waiting for their top candidate to make a decision, so they put me on the waitlist. First time this has ever happened to me 🥲. Any insights would be appreciated!

A former client director colleague has gone in-house as CMO. They are now asking me (currently ECD) to join and set up an agency-like creative team to up-level everything from brand to sales materials. It's a good mgmt opp and good creative is a definite possibility, but I'm conflicted. Aency BS would be nice to step away from, but I think I'm still bought into the notion that agencies are superior and in-house is where washed-up creatives go to die. Any regrets from those that made the jump?
