Hi Fishes,
Does Deloitte USI have any cool down period, if you apply and do not get any response from the company? I had previously applied in a role, but didn't hear back from them. So, I'm planning to try to apply via referral this time and I'm wondering if I should use the same e-mail ID or a different one! Deloitte USI

I joined thoughtworks a couple of years ago and would say on an average it has been great here.
It would depend on the team and project you get into.
But as a person who came in from a typical MNC mindset these are my two cents
*Pros *
1. The learning curve is steep. I learnt more in two years than I did in 5 in my previous org. It will seem overwhelming at first but there are a lot of supportive people and enough resources to skill you up.
2. The clients I’ve worked with keep Thoughtworks folks at high regards and this gives you time and confidence proving your mettle.
3. People support - like I mentioned earlier, people don’t keep information to themselves. They love sharing and that’s a great culture that you tend to imbibe.
4. WFH- ah the bliss of wfh! Again, depends on your project of course but it’s an advantage I hold highly as a parent of a 3 year old.
5. Work Life Balance- has been awesome on my current account. There’s always opportunities to do beyond your set responsibilities.
6. People are given voices here. There can be some arrogance from folks who have breathed in the Thoughtworks air for a long time but otherwise, it’s absolutely great in terms of openess
*Cons*
1. There’s a lot of people leaving the org currently which has certainly created a situation of panic. I’m in a dilemma of whether to brush up my resume or stay in a place that’s comfortable on all accounts (at least at the moment)
2. There’s been a change in the leadership which has again created a sense of insecurity in the air. Again, never bothered me personally.
3. There has been whispers of silent lay offs couple months ago. And do not want to make speculations of the criteria. But the best bet would me to make sure you’re staffed on a project.
4. Performance review has a new process but nothing different from what you see in other orgs.
In short, it’s better than most companies out there. And I would really settle only for the best if I happen to move out from here.
