Does anyone else feel unfulfilled in their job, but you’ve decided to stick it out because of the COVID market?

not alcohol/drugs related but more so to do with p*rn addiction. i have struggled for years with this and I am currently making a lot of progress. I started to make real progress once I started telling people (fiance, counsellor, pastor, etc).

I really don't think it should just be considered a religious thing since it effects the brain a lot and can obviously hurt your relationship. Wanted to see if others also struggle with this and are open to sharing.

Anyone else just feel sick and tired all the time?

Has anyone had a nurse state the assumed sex at 12 week ultrasound? The nurse is fairly sure it's a boy, and I'm wondering how accurate her guess is based on a close look of the genitals. Confirmation won't happen until 20 week appt, too far away!

This is kinda weird but is anyone paranoid? I've been so paranoid lately. Like if I'm driving, I visualize me in a car crash. If my parents call, I get paranoid that they have bad news.

Does anyone else struggle with remembering to eat lunch on busy days? I totally forget to feed myself and end up tired and cranky by the end of the day because of it.

I have been finding a number of providers that are in-network (UHC) but the surgery centers are out of network and I was told that I have to use in-network. Has anyone else encountered this problem? I'm not seeing how much use the benefit is when the most expensive part is out of network.

Okay! So I love my job! LOVE IT. But I am actually struggling to have that boundary between work and life… since COVID I shut off and tv has been my downtime. Can anyone offer advice for helping with adderall side effects? I was diagnosed a few months ago and I am new to medication. I have been taking 20 mg xr in the morning but have a terrible crash around 2/3pm each day where I just get very very tired. Doctor recommended 10mg ir mid day to combat but I still experience pretty severe fatigue as a side effect. Just wondering if anyone has found any natural strategies to cope or mitigate. Thanks!

Junior corp associate at a V50 firm in NY. Just received offer a few days ago in Charlotte, a city I really want to live. However, the role is for cap mkts /asset securitization and esoteric assets, e.g., auto loans, railroad, etc. I value having some work life balance. I heard the hours in asset securitization / esoteric assets can be awful. The work is very complex / niche. Does this sound about right? I’m tempted to continue search in CLT even though this a top tier firm. Any thoughts? Thx!

Anyone have any affordable case management software recommendations? I’m looking for something a bit non-traditional as I work for a small nonprofit.
