I have an Offer from Natwest Gurugram for position Java Software Engineer (5+ YOE). I have few questions about the company like how it the work life balance , culture , working environment .

However, now I got an email from the hiring manager that hiring for my role has been paused due to the ongoing cost of living crisis. He expects to resume the hiring for the role in Q1 '23 and would resume the process then. So is it the end? Honestly, I don't expect him to come back. But what do you think?
