Funny I was just looking into this
What did you end up deciding? After some google and reading the comments here I decided to start with a list of the things I could delegate to a personal admin and I might use Thumbtack or Upwork to hire someone on a trial or project basis to see how it goes.
I was a virtual assistant for two years and decided that job wasn’t for me. Meet with the potential assistant as many times as you need to make sure it’s a good match. You could try using Upwork if you have success. I worked with Exec Wranglers as a VA and loved it. There are other teams and VAs as well on LinkedIn.
Email management, website management, answer phone calls, make appointments, research, manage a contact list, organize a calendar, data entry, bookkeeping, travel planning. They will help with anything in your personal and professional life.
I always joke about this but so curious if anyone has actually had success!
Low key thought about starting a business employing virtual assistants.

I tried, but never got comfortable asking the assistants to do personal stuff. Like didn’t want VAs in my personal finances. With real life assistants it felt weird and even a bit douchy asking the same person to walk my dog, drop dry cleaning, as well as schedule meetings and do computer work.
