I recently got an offer from Paytm for a Business Analyst-Team Leader position. The salary they’re offering me is 10 LPA (reason given: hike, although the hiring manager said in oke of the interviews that they don’t have cap on hike). I know that’s too low for this profile, even a BA can get offered around 12 LPA. I have a 2.5 to 3 YOE and all my interviews went AMAZING! What can I do in this situation? Help!

I am currently in staff 3 and will be promoted to senior post October.


Currently I am in the lower side of package 5.5 LPA So, can I expect more hike as i am alredy in the lower packege?

Had a very unpleasant experience with the entire interview process at Paytm. First of all they kept all three rounds in a single day . It started from the morning and ended up till the final round at late evenings. After all the rounds were cleared, the HR asked for the expected package, and when I gave him my quote which was just 35% more than my current CTC, he got reluctant and said we only have a budget of an X amount which was just 10% more than my current CTC. Who on earth does that..?
