I am witnessing a trend in hiring nowadays.All the recruitment posts states immediate joiner or with 15 days notice period.
Who is getting job with 90 days notice period.What we are supposed to do, should we leave our current job and then search for a new job.I do not need this 90 days notice period, I have not created it then why we are suffering the most.Someone has to give chance to the 90 days notice period candidate.

Hello , I have accepted an offer from a UK firm , they mentioned that they will provide coc form to me and then I have to apply for a visa (they will reimburse the visa cost)
Is this a norm there ?

I’ve been on the bench with J1 for about 3 months. I was worried that because I couldn’t find another project, I would get laid off so I found J2, which pays more, is very meeting heavy, but I really like. I’ve kept J1 because I’m still on the bench doing absolutely nothing and getting paid. Thinking about looking for a role on a project with J1 that’s not along my career path but will allow for me to do work with no calls so that I can manage both jobs. Does anyone have experience or advice?

Does it matter if I don’t meet the specific job requirements when transferring H1B? The job posted requires CPA license but I haven’t got it. The employer is still willing to hire me. I know for PERM process, meeting minimum requirements is important but not sure if H1B have such requirement. I heard that for H1B as long as it’s a position requiring bachelors degree and specifically occupation that should be fine. But kinda worried about this.

This was long overdue. The starting salaries have remained more or less stagnant for over a decade.

India is no more the India of yore. India has had a very pertinent export for a longish period of time. Indian software engineers have long served at meagre rates in India.

Now is the time to establish some sort of equilibrium.

I'm working as a business tech analyst at ZS since 1.5 years and I have worked extensively in SQL and in automation using Python. I know a good deal of ML and DL theory and have done two projects which I believe are good. I'm from CS background and am decent at coding. Anyone who can help me with a referral for data science/ML engineer roles? Current CTC is 13L.

I recently applied to Mindtree. After one technical round I got couple of surveys to fill and after that I received a call that they will be rolling out an offer soon. I don't understand is this legit or not. Only after one interview round they are ready to release an offer.
