They are offering a decent 60% hike on CTC basis for Sr. Consultant role. Is it a good move to move from Cognizant Consulting to Infosys Consulting?

Hi. I'm a fresher who joined Persistent Systems this year. Currently I'm aligned to a React- Redux position, but the project also uses Node.js, AWS for the back-end.
However, I feel my salary is kinda low considering the industry standard, but all the experienced folks I know, say "Don't look at the salary during initial phase.."
Can anyone explain why? Doesn't the current CTC play a part while a switch?
Also, what should prepare now for a 100-200% switch after like an year or two?
