Hi Folks, I have received an offer from amdocs. However I am eager to change my tech stack as I am preparing for it side by side. It will be possible in amdocs to change my technology?

I’m currently a systems engineer (4-5 YOE in SE, 2 YOE in customer service before that) with BS in STEM, MS in Technical Mgmt. I’ve been dealing with burnout so I’m currently on the hunt for a new job but I’m thinking about making a pivot into something else - maybe a data science or data analytics role. A lot of my experience for the languages/tools that seem to be required for those roles comes from my undergrad courses and not my SE experience. Can I still put that on my resume?

I'm looking for roles that have aspects of event strategy & marketing. I have experience doing both and would like to continue on that path but I struggle with what titles to look for. I had cleared all the technical+ managerial round in @amdocs . Even salary discussion had also happened. And they were about to share the offer letter. But now they are saying that hiring is on hold now for the project.

Everyone says to join amdocs, but money diff is also much betweeen both.



Also if i do all paperwork with amdocs and doesnt join will there be any issue for me, i dont intend to do this, but in case cognizant backs off I have to keep a back up offer in hand.
